Maria Mandarino, licensed acupuncturist and owner of West Valley Acupuncture, brings more than 20 years experience in acupuncture, the John Barnes Approach to Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and AMMA Therapy to the West Valley. She is also a certified Spiritual Director, Certified Enneagram Practitioner, and Certified Bach Flower Practitioner.
In the clinic, Maria specializes in acupuncture and gold moxa treatments for IVF, fertility, hormone regulation, labor support, and postpartum care. She also specializes in scar tissue release, pain, and autoimmune disorders.
Prior to her career as an acupuncturist, Maria worked in research medicine and was on the editorial staff of the Journal of Maternal-Fetal Investigation in New York.

PRESENCE
In over twenty years of clinical practice in the holistic healing arts, I have come to stand on this one single statement: presence and authenticity are the key to healing. That means istening to my patients and clients, seeing and honoring them in their vulnerabiilty, and holding space with them so they can pause and heal.
My patients and clients are not just names that fill my schedule. They are vital beings who are necessary to the evolution of life on this planet. They are people who are struggling, be it with physical pain or limitation, or in matters of the spirit. They are deserving of compassion, understanding, and personalized care to help them meet their goals. Whether that means helping them getting out of pain, have a healthy child, or finding peace of spirit, this is my role.
